Many people want to take up the challenge to write a book on their ideas and experiences. But where to start, and - once started - how to get the process to a successfull end by really publishing your own book and promoting it? In this NEDWORC session two experienced authors will guide you through the different steps in the process.

PROGRAM - presentation and interactive exchange in four main stages of the book journey:
1 - why do you want to write your book?
2 - the writing process
3 - the publishing
4 - the promotion of your book

Participation is free, for NEDWORC members and others working in internaitonal development coopertion. Join us, and gain and share your insights!

Workshop presenters/moderators
- Dr Ir Carin Vijfhuizen (NEDWORC member) is a rural development sociologist and works in educational and agrarian projects in Africa, Middle East and Europe. She is the author of several books, see www.carinvijfhuizen.com.
- Mieke Simons is the author of 2 story collections and 1 novel. She used to work as a secretary and holds a bachelor in psychology. For 7 years she is a volunteer in a school in Nepal. See www.simonswriting.nl.
