EVALSDGs | Evaluation and the Transformational Imperative
30 January 2024 | 03:00 pm CET (09:00 am EST) | online
In this EVALSDGs Insight webinar, we look at why and how evaluation needs to transform itself if it is to better support the transformational agenda mirrored in the SDGs. We also summarize some promising pathways for this transformational journey.
This dialogue builds upon the latest EvalSDGs Insight briefing authored by EvalSDGs members Scott Chaplowe and Joy Mukoma. In addition to the valuable insights that will be provided by Scott and Joyce, we are honored to have distinguished panelists contribute to the discussion: Neha Sharma (Evaluation and Learning Lead at the Climate Investment Funds), Zenda Ofir (a thought leader in evaluation for transformation), Oscar A. Garcia (Chief Impact Officer at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, GEAPP), Candice Morkel (Director of the Centre for Learning on Evaluation and Results, Anglophone Africa (CLEAR-AA) and Rob D. van den Berg (professor and former Director of the Independent Evaluation Office of the Global Environment Facility).
